As you'll have noticed by now, I have decided to redo completely the appearance of my blog.
There's no significance to this change at all, except that I finally felt like having a different colour other than pink to work with. Green seemed nice, so I went with it. Spent the last hour or so fiddling around with different things, trying to get it to look brilliant, and I hope I've done a good job.
If you are having difficulty with the new colour scheme, please do let me know in comments and I'll have a look to see what feels good and also solves the issue - although, if you're having that much trouble, you won't be able to read this anyway, so it's pointless my saying it!
I ditched a couple of the gadgets in the sidebar that I wasn't using (nobody ever bought me anything of Amazon, for example, you stingy lot! ;-) ) and chose a new description. The new photo shows my folded arms clipped from the cookery pics I did in February last year.
Please do let me know what you think of the new set-up.

Comments Moderation Policy
This blog is intended to be a place where I can develop my thoughts freely and get free and honest responses. Essentially, it is my safe space, and for that reason I have elected to maintain this blog as a moderated space. However, I am opposed in general to censorship and believe that usually the best way to kill a bad idea is with a better one, so very few comments will be rejected. Comments designed to cause offence for the sake of it (e.g. abusive or inflammatory remarks with no other content), or else those that I feel cross a boundary of human decency, are most likely to be rejected.

Looks good!
ReplyDeleteI'm actually have a difficult time reading it on the green background. I was wondering if you might consider either a larger font or changing the area with the text to white. It's the glare that is tough to deal with. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the heads-up, Renee: I've done both. A bigger font size, and a pale cream background. I hope that solves the issues.
