Here is a blog by a Swedish sex worker, who generally writes in Swedish (naturally) but has explained in English what the "Swedish Model" actually means for the sex workers themselves:

To summarise her post in her own words:
the law against purchasing sexual services have increased the risks and the violence against sexworkers and the law against procurement make it impossible for us to work safely.
I urge you all to read the full thing if you have any concern at all about women, but especially if you have ever made any comment in a public or semi-public sphere about sex work.

This blog is intended to be a place where I can develop my thoughts freely and get free and honest responses.
